Hi! Thanks for following my blog.  This is about my journey parenting two boys, one with ADHD and one who is 2e (twice exceptional), while married to a man with ADHD.  I am not a professional blogger or a medical professional.  Everything you read on my blog will be my personal experience raising my two wonderful children with an ADHD husband.  All ideas expressed here are my own opinions, unless otherwise stated.  I do not claim to be an expert.  I am a typical mom, trying to survive in an atypical family.

My husband and I met when I was 16 and we married young. We waited 5 years to have our first son and another 5 years to have our second son.  Fast forward to today, he is retired from the military and we both work for the local school system.  I'm an educator and he's an office associate.  Our boys are now in 8th grade and 3rd grade (2019) and time is flying by.  The picture below is from 2009 when he returned from a long deployment.  Those days are long behind us, but we still have our daily struggles as we navigate parenting in general.  Add to it that the existing and ongoing medical issues and we are in choppy water.
